Cheryl named Glamour'Woman of the Year'

Confirming what her fans have known all along, Cheryl was last night hailed 'Woman of the Year' at the 2010 Glamour Awards. 

Looking her usual fabulous self in a Julien MacDonald floor length dress, nervous Cheryl said,'If you would have said this to me 4 or 5 years ago, I would never have dreamt that I would be here amongst so many gorgeous, glamorous women'.

Cheryl goes down a storm in Dublin

Congrats to Cheryl who this weekend tore the roof off Dublin's O2 Arena, performing her first ever solo concert date on The Black Eyes Peas UK tour! 

Cheryl, joined by a cavalcade of dancers and wearing her trademark corset and slashed military trousers, gave an absolutely massive performance of hits from her '3 Words' album.

And not content with leaving the 14,000 strong crowd begging for more, Cheryl also made her mark on the UK press with The Sunday Mirror concluding Cheryl,‘delivered a stunning set’, and The Sun declaring, ‘Sizzling Cheryl Cole got the party started for 14,000 fans at the Black Eyed Peas. {Cheryl} wowed the audience with 30 minutes of live singing.”

Cheryl Cancels V Festival and X Factor Bootcamp

As we're sure you're all aware, Cheryl is currently taking a break from work commitments due to health reasons.

In light of this, we're disappointed to confirm that she has had to pull out of both V Festival and X Factor Bootcamp.

Cheryl is obviously gutted to be missing out and says she can't wait to get back to work and see you all soon!

She also wishes to send a massive THANK YOU to all of you for your kind get well messages which have all been passed on.

Cheryl to release'My World'

We are very pleased to announce that Cheryl is to release her first ever book. Titled 'My World', the book will feature a special selection of intimate and insightful photographs covering Cheryl's life up to now!

The book will be released in lavishly illustrated hardback format on September 30th.

Cheryl herself had this to say about the project...

"I think looking at pictures is a bit like listening to music - it reminds you of what was happening and how you were feeling at certain times in your life.

"Sometimes I look at old pictures and I can't believe that was me. I think we all do that. I went through a phase of being a bit tomboyish when I loved trainers and Timberland boots and baggy trousers. I had pink streaks in my hair at one point but I was experimenting and at the time I liked it.

"I can look at photos and straight away they'll bring back loads of memories. That's really why I wanted to do this book, so I could choose pictures that mean something to me and tell the stories that go with them."
